Through education, counseling and access to valuable resources, Cancer Navigators is available to help ease some of the difficult emotions you may experience and help you keep a sense of control over your diagnosis and treatment.

About Us

Cancer Navigators is an independent, community-based 501 (c)3 non-profit organization founded by donations from citizens and businesses of Northwest Georgia, and by grants from private and public organizations. It has the endorsement and support of Harbin Clinic, Floyd Medical Center, Redmond Regional Medical Center, and the Northwest Georgia Regional Cancer Coalition. Cancer Navigators partners with many organizations including the American Cancer Society to provide resources and educational materials.

Services

Cancer Navigators, a Rome, Georgia based non-profit organization was established as a community resource for cancer patients and survivors from Floyd, Chattooga and Polk counties. Services are available through physicians referral. A staff member of Cancer Navigators will meet with you to explain the organization’s services which include Nurse Navigation, Service Navigation and Education Navigation. All clinical staff are licensed by the State of Georgia, and all Cancer Navigators services are provided to patients free of charge.
